 Poster: A snowHead
|
I've been trying to book two rail transfers for March and April on the normally very efficient Swiss Railways website this morning.
It's either unavailable or, on one occasion, disappeared when I reached the payment stage.
Long shot, I know, but is anyone else having difficulties?
Had my broadband tested by BT, all fine, and everything else is working perfectly.
Thanks.

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Website appears to load fine.
You're not trying to buy the category of tickets that can only be bought less than a month before travel, are you?!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Have you tried using the SBB app?

@jebroni3_16, No, both of my trips and the appropriate trckets are within the 60 day advanced purchase period. I can't get on there, let alone get to the purchase stage!
No, I haven't tried the SBB app. Will do so.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Website loaded up first time on Chrome on phone but didn't try to get any further than looking at times
Need to sort tickets for 20th - 24th March so might be able to try doing that in a few hours. Got some stuff I need to sort first though

You'll need to Register first of course.

Interesting. Website doesn't load on Chrome or Edge on both the desktop and laptop.
Will try this new-fangled app thing!
Edit: managed, at long last, to get in via a link from an old ticket purchase e-mail. Rail transfers successfully booked and research done for a month-long trip next season!
