Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just had a joyful message that our transfers have been cancelled next sat from Geneva to les gets for 8 of us (4 adults and 4 kids).

Given the late notice and likely business, can anyone recommend a reputable transfer company??

Thanks in advance.

I used Skiidy Gonzales and they were great, albeit about ten years ago. Got an 8 seat minibus.

We’d book via booking dot com (against my judgement but I was overruled as it was cheap!!!).

Will take a look at alps 2 alps.

@j4meseaton, Never used them myself but have heard good reports about Findtransfers for last minute bookings, not the cheapest, but finding availability is going to be your problem.

You will be sent quotes to choose from, and you can read reviews of the taxi/transfer companies who send a quote

Have you tried Mountain Lifts?

They're advertising €195 for 8 people one way to Les Gets

Had grenoble to les deux alpes transfer cancelled this week. Booked Saturday and they didn't cancel until Wednesday so can't find anything now. One told me transfer vehicles have reduced due to covid.

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Been a nightmare. Luckily we’ve some friends there this week and they’ve been able to get us sorted. Pretty much every option listed above had no availability.

Final option was going to be hire care but they are over priced too.

Lesson learnt, don’t use booking.com as a broker for transfers!

It’s our first school holidays trip, I’m already dreading it a bit as I guess it’s going to be really busy. Might be the last family trip until the girls are 18+

 You know it makes sense.

I hope the holiday is a great success, @j4meseaton. I guess the high price of rental cars has been a bonanza for transfer companies.
