My son tested +ve on 27 Sept 21. I've scanned his recovery code into the TousAntiCovid app. I can now see it in the app's wallet, and it says it is valid from 8 Oct 2021 to 30 Mar 2022. We're well over the 4 months... |
That’s very positive then … the QR code would have expired in late January under the 4 month rule. We’d all be grateful if you could rescan this tomorrow … just in case the app parameters haven’t been updated yet! |

That makes sense ... the validity timeline starts on the day of the +ve PCR text (12 October to 14 April = 180 days).

@jd_evans, @lbown, @sugarmoma666, @franga, Thank you for all of your help, reassurance, advice over the last 48hours.
My daughter's code is still scanning as 'valid' with TAC Verif, so my view now is that we're good to go until it doesn't, whenever that may be! If nothing else, your inputs have helped me understand the system a whole lot better, and what will be will be - there's not a lot I can do differently now.
Hopefully the PS has remained at 6months recovery and, if it has, apologies for any consternation I caused by panicking!
This is a great community and I'm pleased to be back on (I was here that last time I boarded - 2009! - don't ask me what me user name was, I can't remember!) - I shall try and post updates on my experiences in France, especially if they might help others with their travels.

Travelling to France next week, but landing in Italy then private transfer straight away. Just adults travelling, so no kids/teen complications.
If I am reading the current rules correctly I don’t need a PCR going either way, just a passenger locator form for Italy.
Obviously fully vaxed (and covid recovered- x2!)
