Hi everyone
Booked room in catered chalet last week for the January 29th with Ski Beat.
Been with them 3 times before, pre-covid. All good.
They called yesterday to say chalet "closed" due to "staffing issues" and offered transfer to another resort.
ISSUE 1 - we booked ski pack in the original resort with a skiset franchise, after skibeat confirmed chalet booking, at very good rate.
Ski Beat say they will be in touch with skiset about the refund, or transfer to the new resort .... but no response yet from skiset.
We emailed ski set last night - no response.
Online rates at new resort +£100 each x 3.
Ski Beat not offering to match our ski pack rate - there's is £50 more x 3.
ISSUE 2 - is Ski Beat "OK" at present, or should this chalet change / lack of real help mean we should cancel on them and claim back on credit card, kissing holiday and ski rental paid "GOOD BYE "
Any recent experiences from snowheads on ski set and Ski Beat gratefully received !!

@CreakyAs Hell29*, I was more checking specifically that you'd clicked on the Skiset links in your posts (and this one), as you'll then see the view of Admin on Skiset.

@CreakyAs Hell29*, at the moment with the Covid rates as they are in France, it seems perfectly plausible that Ski Beat are having staffing issues. They don't generally have a lot of spare staff floating around.

Sorry to hear you've been switched. We are due to go to La Rosiere with SkiBeat on Saturday.
Which chalet were you going to be in at La Rosiere ??
With just 3 in your party i guess it was easier to move you than a complete chalet

Can't complain but we have done a lot of sorting off our own backs - bit of a control freak !!!
I know that they appear to be better at answering emails than phone calls - try that way

Ski beat are a right bunch! We’re waiting on £6000+ refund. They are being very little help blaming credit card companies but not willing to assist in contacting their card merchant. Good luck.

Skis refund appears to be on its way from skiset / Olympic La Rosiere - we have used them twice before, they were very good. Their discount code if anyone needs it in La Rosiere is " SNOW ".
