Awesome run, but a LONG way to go before he's even discussed in the same league as Candide. I actually preferred Abel Mogas run, although more personal preference I have no issues with the judges scoring Max Palms run higher. Good to see a run without "tricks" get second place though, over the last few seasons it seemed a 360 or back flip was pretty much mandatory to get a good score.
Are we going to ignore aymar navarro going full aymar navarro? That was an absolutely insane line, glad he was ok.

I loved Moga’s run too, and Maxime Chabloz, a young Swiss rider. New generation raising the bar. But Max on a wildcard, on debut, pulling the first double back in FWT history on his first trick is as ballsy as it’s possible to get!!! Shame Aymar couldn’t pull off that line. He’s borderline insane but amazing to watch. The level is off the scale this season judging from that first event!

You obviously didn't watch the snowboarding Men's ski level was indeed off the scale.
A few years ago a Japanese girl (can't remember her name) was the wildcard for hakuba and podiumed (maybe even won) and they gave her a season wild card. I definitely wouldn't be complaining if they did the same for Max.
