@Andy_Mac, would be helpful to know what type of resort you like/don’t like? Are you looking for some apres? Chalet or hotel etc etc

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Wherever a tour operator will allow you to go that week without paying a "single person" supplement would be my possibly unhelpful suggestion.
From my own personal experience, package holidays were the best option when I was looking for a week's tuition because the resorts they go to are generally set up for that. And as a beginner, it really doesn't matter where you go.
My first trip was to Niederau in Austria and I can't imagine a week there now would keep me entertained, but I don't ever remember being bored / frustrated by doing the same runs over and over.
For my self-organised trips, with flights from Brum to Geneva and then on via bus, train or private coach shuttle, I've been to some great places, but they'd not be as good for someone wanting to get booked on group lessons.

cheap - I would be tempted to bite to go to Bulgaria & have private lessons.
Cheap food. Cheap drink. Cheap Lessons. Cheap lift pass.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I'd echo @jebroni3_16 and @Mr.Egg, when you are learning the size of the resort doesn't really matter all that much - provided that it has easily-accessible greens and blue. That and being relatively cheap and cheerful, I guess.
My advice would be to pick your week (as it looks like you have) then keep an eye on any last-minute deals.
Have fun! Take some ibuprofen or whatever for the inevitable pain of your first few days. You are likely to hurt. It gets better!

L2A is a good resort, even if the valley has melted just keep heading up and you'll find snow, plus some of the most learner friendly runs are up very high and if you are up for it by the end of the week you can ride what is arguably the biggest lift served vertical on the planet on blues and greens, start from the glacier and finish in the village over a mile lower! Though keep in mind their piste grading can be somewhat 'interesting' in places when you start to explore a bit on your own!
If you haven't found a school yet I'd recommend these folks, https://www.europeanskischool.eu/

Do they still have those tiny yellow and red bubbles in L2A?

They sold those off to anyone who wanted one a few years ago

You know it makes sense.

@davkt, I had my worst hangover feeling on a winter holiday inside those bubbles.
Seriously dehydrated after a heavy sesh the previous night, and being stuck in one of those with a mate in full sun while they fixed a problem. Was seriously melting by the time we made it to the top.

LOL! The L2A eggs do have more than their fair share of that sort of story!

I want a bubble to use as a home office in the summer. I know there is the graveyard for bubbles, but the mark up is silly!
