Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Assuming you have NHS QR code - it will be scanned using VerficaC19 app using Verifica Rafforzata (super green) option at bottom of home screen. Green tick says you are in (for bars etc). You can download the VerifiC19 app on app store and check your codes yourself before you go. You can also import you NHS codes in to GreenPassITalia app if you want, but you don't need to do so.

There's some sort of daily validation process I'm not clear on, relating to access to lifts, which I presume is explained to you when you buy your lift pass but as long as you have a QR code, it's nothing to worry about before you go and can be done at your own leisure using the app every day. The down side is that is you qualify for the supergreen but do not have a QR code eg recovered teen with single jab, then you have to go to lift pass office very morning for validation. That was news on the ground from early Jan.

Just to add to this having recently returned from Champoluc and heard similar at other resorts.

They were scanning QR codes at the main gondola entrance but not the side entrances (nhs app one works fine as stated by susieq78), probably because you need to show your qr code to buy a lift pass and that’s where the office was. Restaurants the same pretty much, although one or two didn’t bother for us English but certainly all Italians.

What you also need are the FFP2 masks everywhere and they refused some onto the gondola with only the blue ‘surgical’ or basic masks. Also enforced on open chairlifts so get used to wearing it a lot or having to faff a bit at the top and bottom of each run.

Worth saying this applied to kids age 6+ although not so enforced. They still had them and needed them occasionally.

Everyone was pretty compliant and wore the masks inside and out. The accepted exception appeared to be when talking on the phone!
