Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Covid recovery certificate

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi. I have a friend due to travel from Edinburgh to Grenoble on 19 Mar 22.

2nd covid vaccine was on 19 Jun 21.

They have a covid recovery certificate for the 21 Nov 21

Booster was completed today on 16 Mar 22.

Now the 2nd jab was literally bang on 9 months ago on Saturday and the booster needs 7 days to be classed as effective so technically classed as unvaccinated.

However, My question is, does the Covid recovery certificate of 11 days - 6 months still remain valid for travel?

I'd really like an answer to this as well. Very similar position. I've uploaded my recovery cert to the French app, which shows a green tick and an expiration date in September, so I THINK I'm OK without a booster (my second cv was mid December), but I'm not sure.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Unfortunately it could depend on the airline, eurotunnel etc. The requirements for entering France shown on gov.uk, vary slightly (relating to full vaccination status when taking any recovery certificates into account) to those on French official websites.

The TAC verif app, on border mode, will let you check whether your qr codes are valid. But that’s for use in France and may not be what an airline etc goes by. Eurotunnel follow whatever is on gov.uk. for outward travel.
