Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Mountain biking Saas Fee

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I am going to be in Saas Fee for 3 weeks in late August. Wanted to know what the riding is like there. I will be there for a ski camp, but was hoping to ride in the afternoon. It's a long way to take a bike, so want to make sure it is worth taking.

nater, welcome to snowHeads! snowHead

I've only been to Saas Fee in the winter - others around here have been in there in the summer. Would renting a bike once you arrive be an option?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I'd definitely consider renting, I can't find much information on the net though. I would like to know cost and types of bikes available.

Not sure if the link will work, but I asked a similar question a while back, there might be some useful information for you there, as I recall Saas Fee being mentioned.

nater, according to the Saas Fee website you can hire mountain bikes at a number of shops. Of these only Cesar Sport seems to have a website http://www.cesarsport.ch where the cost seems to be:

1 day 38 CHF
2 days 72 CHF
3 days 89 CHF
4 days 106 CHF
5 days 123 CHF
6 days 139 CHF
7 days 152 CHF

extra days beyond 7 - 12 CHF

There are various routes on the Saas Fee website.
