You could try the Tignes/VdI Facebook groups too nearer the time.

@backhojo, Sorry about the spellin. Spellin is not my strong point.
A few years ago a friend of mine left booking her transfer to Geneva too late and every option was full. BlaBlaCar found her a lift at a fraction of the price of the bus. Though IIRC it only took her to Chambery from where she got the train.

@backhojo, as @Gämsbock suggests, you should go on Val d'Isere or Tignes Seasonaires Facebook pages anytime after Xmas and ask if anyone can help you out.
I'm probably done with Seasons now, but if I was out in Val d'Isere this year, I wouldn't have any problem helping out a fellow Snowhead with a lift down to Bourg. There's bound to be someone out in Espace Killy this year with a similar mindset who can hopefully help You out.

@backhojo, I‘m not sure if it will work now, might be a bit early - my impression is that on the day or day before is normally when these things generally get arranged on facebook, because that‘s when people know if they are going down.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

There's a bus leaves Val at 1700, gets into Bourg for 1815. Can't they go into a bar for 45 minutes??? Or do you you mean leave Val at 1900? If so 1 hour 30 in a bar.
