Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

on our wanders around the grand massif, came across the top of Sairon, the lift upgrade to a six seater is progressing.

there also seems to bit of re profiling of the piste at the top of the 3 seater chair, with at lot more digging behind the photo position as well

Massive new building at the first roundabout on the road that drops into Flaine, probably 1km from center. It adds a new level each time I drive past, now 9 stories high.



And you can see the snow canons were firing yesterday, probably a test before the FL drops to 2000 next weekend.



Am off to Courmayeur now for the weekend, anyone know if there is a thread for this resort?

Saw this snowplough plugged in this morning. Clearly has an exhaust, so maybe hybrid?



Didn't have time to get up close to the peaks / take pics but definitely looks like the top pistes have been bashed.
