Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,

In January we will be in Les Menuires and some of my colleagues are unvaccinated. Do you have to take COVID test every day to make "Pass Sanitarie" valid?

Thanks.

Beware! The rules are meant to be changing at some point in January so that tests will no longer be valid for the PS, it'll be vaccinations only!

The Covid incidence rate in the Haute Savoie has jumped 17% in the past week to 976 / 100000 (647 / 100000 nationally). Doesn't bode well Crying or Very sad https://www.gouvernement.fr/info-coronavirus/carte-et-donnees#situation_hospitaliere_-_taux_d_occupation

We have been skiing the 3V this week and did not have our passes checked on lifts all week. We saw them being checked in Meribel once.

Some restaurants asked but not all!

@laurenamy25 I had my QR code checked twice today on the Aigulle du Fruit and Verdons. I have had it checked several times on: Saulire 1; Tougnette 1 and Plantrey.

just finished a week in the 3valleys, PS was only checked once on a lift (at St martin 2), though i did see them checking at the lift in les menuires this lunchtime, as i was walking by.

only a couple of restaurants/bars checked asked for my PS, and they were only if I was inside.

in a strange way, i hoped that it was being enforced more, as this would mean the people i was sitting with on lifts or gondolas, was in the same situation as me regarding vaxx status.

@terrygasson, it seems very half arsed in 3V. We were asked in every restaurant in PdS (french side).

Oh interesting, we used Aigulle du Fruit most days and didn’t have it checked at all.

I missed the announcement but apparently masks are needed to be worn outside in the savoie region. I saw police down in meribel telling people outside to mask up.
