Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Satisfaction with Snowcard ski insurance.

My 2 cheques for claims relating to my Aple D'Huez injury came through this week from Fortis, who deal with snowcard's claims. The claim dealing with holiday cancellation arising form the injury was treated as a separate item from claims arising directly from the injury.

I could niggle that the FT exchange rate applied was not favourable to me, as bank exchange rates for my debit/credit cards are almost certainly worse - but I am nevertheless content.

Whilst I was in France, there was a bit of a problem getting the claims people in touch with the French doctor, but apart from that, it all went reasonably smoothly - with a taxi laid on to take me to Grenoble, and 4 seats booked on easyJet - 3 for me and one for my companion. Then a car with a medical technician laid on to take me from Gatwick to home.

All, in all, good service. Snowcard remains recommended, as far as I am concerned.

Not sure if this should go in The Piste ot Apres. Mods - fell free to move this if you wish. Smile

I have used Snowcard's annual Insurance now for several years.

Thankfully I have not yet had to make a claim.

Good to know that if I ever do their response is good.

Hope you get better soon
