Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Dalbello Pantera Repair

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I have a pair of Dalbellow Pantera 120's, and I noticed today while I was teaching that the walk/ski mode bit on the back has snapped on one of the boots.

https://www.skibartlett.com/ski-boots-c4/ski-boots-c14/recreational-boots-c114/dalbello-panterra-120-gripwalk-ski-boot-p14463

In the picture in the link, you can see the little toggle on the back. Now I have a right boot stuck in walk mode.

Anyone have any idea where to begin with finding a replacement part for this? Straight to Dalbello?

@swskier, I've had really good experiences messaging Dalbello directly on FB (less good going via their regional offices) - they sent me a pair of free replacement tongues for my Lupos with no issues, and even included a free Dalbello branded Moka Pot coffee maker Smile

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@swskier, it is a riveted in part, how old is the boot, if within warranty then they are pretty good at fixing things like this very quickly, if it is out of warranty then it is a case of getting the part and finding somewhere that can fit it having done a few it certainly isn't the easiest job in boot repair but it is possible

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@CEM, thanks for the heads up. I think I bought them during the 17/18 season, it's the exact same boot as in the link I posted up above.

Almost certainly not in the warranty, but I will see what they come back with. Perhaps this is the perfect excuse to buy something new Laughing
