Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Poster: A snowHead
Hi there!! I wanna go to enjoy mid-December in the alps (from 11 to 18th of December) and I have had very great moments in vars time ago, the only problem is that I don't know if it's going to be snow or better looking for another option. What do you think?

Thanks a lot!

Wait till the very last minute - then you'll know about the snow. If you are determined to go that week, book a flight (but not to Austria....., and perhaps a car, and leave choice of resort till later - there should be plenty of choice that week.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks! I'm going by car (from Spain it's not so much) so no problem at all with the transport. It's more about I don't know if there is going to be options so close to the dates. Regarding that point, how much time in advance is more or less enough to know it is in good condition? One week before?

Thanks again!

I think Montgenevre would be the safest option in the Southern French Alps as it has already opened at weekends (due to good snow) and I think will be fully open in December.
