Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chalet Soldanella, Selva

Hi has anyone stayed at this chalet in last 2-3 years? I’m trying to find out about the rooms as have 9 booked for February. Some are more expensive but I can’t find any info re size ( just balconies). Thanks Eh oh!

I haven't stayed there but did find this in one of the reviews on the igluski website.

"The bedrooms were generally a good size all with private facilities, some a lot larger than others."

I guess that probably explains the difference in price. If you really want the details on room sizes then you'll probably have to give them a call.

Why don't you call or ask them?

One think about Selva is that unless you're looking for lower-level 2 star digs, the quality and space of accommodations is excellent. We have NEVER had a single issue regarding our lodgings, over the past 5 years, with groups of 6-7.

By the way, Soldanella is perfectly located. You can just hop on the trail through town to the lifts across the road, or I think you can walk a bit slightly uphill to get to Larceiunei/Dantercepies.

We stayed here December, before the plague, and are hopefully returning this December.
This is a fantastic base, really central, the staff were really good, we stayed the first week it opened.
The room we had on the second floor was huge, all carpeted, but no balcony, so one of the cheaper ones
This time we have gone for a ground floor room purely based on price.
