Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Risoul - Christmas-SNOW???

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hello everyone,
We are planning family hols from 18th of  December, and it looks like Risoul is ticking all the required boxes...It's just the most important question:

Is there going to be enough snow?

I tried and failed to find any historical data for the late december...

Could anybody help?

Thanks a lot
Monty

We were in Risoul for Christmas 2018. Perfect weather - loads of snow, cold but blue skies & sun all week. Enjoy!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You need to Login to know who's really who.

Anybody who claims to know what the snow will be like in Risoul in mid-December is talking through their helmet. It's very early season - and snow cover is variable - but it's high altitude, and a sensible choice.
Good luck!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

As @pam w said, it's a punt, but a reasonable one.

Same situation here! But thinking about going from 11th to 18th, seems we have to wait a bit more in order to know how its going to be.

I don't know about Risoul but Montgenevre is a good option in December and is already open at weekends as I have just mentioned on another thread.
