Due to my originally booking with a Catered Chalet being cancelled and rebooking a place via Air BnB, I am now looking at booking catering for our holiday.
I know I have found a thread before about companies in Morzine which you can book catering for your "self catered" accommodation. I can not now find it!
So please can people either recommend me companies I can look at?
or... give me the link to the previous thread on this subject if you can find that?

Quick shout out to a friend of mine over there, who has his own Private chef company. Highly recommend, as know how good his cooking is and a top bloke to boot!

Another recommendation for Drew - we used him for a couple of years til he went off travelling (I think!). Good to see he’s back.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@stantonrider, Thank you. Following that link, got me to the one I had looked at when we were considering this route, in the summer. I have sent a message through. Fingers crossed, I haven't left too late, as we are going for Feb half term.

Thanks @andy from embsay, excellent. Fingers crossed we can book him!

@NickyJ, i’ve a feeling Drew’s booked - a mate is staying at our place 19-26 Feb and he was already booked. I’m sure he’ll be able to suggest someone else (he did when he wasn’t around with us).

@andy from embsay,
Any other recommendations?

@NickyJ, we’ve not used a chef for a while, sorry. As I said, if Drew’s booked he may know someone. Or maybe try a post on the Morzine Crew FB page? That is pretty good for recommendations.

@Nadenoodlee, not come across Bon Appetit for frozen meals - will give them a bash - super value when you realise it’s €15 for a tartiflette for 2.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

@andy from embsay, he’s a top guy. I always had a stash of his meals in the freezer when we lived there and i’ll probably order a few in for xmas too.

@Nadenoodlee, that’s a good plan to stock up the freezer - we’ll be flying evenings quite a lot this winter and getting in too late to go to the shops.

You know it makes sense.
|
@andy from embsay, i’ve got a ‘first night’ stash to always make sure we can eat, drink, make a cuppa and survive breakfast in our place if we get in late or on a Sunday when L’Epicerie in Montriond isnt open! (Interseason). I’ve got a great guy who delivers wine too - will even pop it in the fridge for you if youve got a key box!

@Nadenoodlee, my co-owner mate isn’t very domesticated so he insisted on frozen plastic pizzas and peas (he really likes peas) for late arrivals. I shall have my own stash.
I’m out on my own in late Nov so I’ll arrange a delivery. I assume it arrives in disposable containers?
Thanks for the tip!

He hasn't come back from my query that I completed on the website. Can you recall his other suggestions?

How does the frozen stuff work? Do they deliver daily, or do you try and book enough for the week? I am not certain how much freezer storage we will have as we are a group of 15 people, this could be a challenge.

Sorry, no - this is a few years ago. I’d pop a post on the Morzine Crew FB page - you’ll certainly get some ideas as to who’s around.

@NickyJ, probably best to message him as he’s in Samoens - for Total Ski - they do meal kits in Morzine so may do several drop offs - drop them an email, they're really lovely so sure they can give you some options.
