Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,

Does anyone have recommendations for a good transfer company operating between Geneva and Tignes? I’ve tried a couple and still waiting on a quote and the other price is €175pp return for shared which seems more expensive than I remember. Travel date is early December

@billybob, have you tried bensbus? you get an online instant quote and confirmation, i am using them for myself at xmas to Les menuires from GVA, TBH i tried on different websites, and started a thread on here asking for recommendation's, but in the end settled for Bensbus.

just tried out a costing for tignes on their site for a solo traveller, not knowing your dates, i entered a sat/sat for mid dec and came back at around £85, for an extra £5 you can get a flexible ticket.obviously if there are a few of you, it may be better to get a private transfer.

Thank you both for those suggestions I will try those out. I was wondering if the problem was with my travel dates being just a little ahead of main season- travelling out on 5 December. Cheers again Eh oh!

I've used this website a couple of times and would definitely recommend getting some quotes through it. Glad to see they're still going after Covid.

Re. bens bus I have spoken to them and their schedule is correct for this year - so the number and dates being served in December are accurate - they are not intending to add any more services. So GVA - Tignes is Saturday only that weekend and the same if you need a return the next weekend

A +1 for www.findtransfers.com. They have always come-up with low prices and great service. You post your request, and many transfer companies will quote you their best price. You can request a shared mini-bus, or just one for your party.

Good thing is, the the website only charges the transfer companies a small percentage. So everyone is happy.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

These guys are ran by the same company who operate the ‘Tignes Chalet Company’ and might be able to help.

I'd have a look at train from Geneva airport to Bourg St Maurice, then Altibus to Tignes.
