Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

^ Have you considered that there is a third option. And probably more. Having been a civil servant, and at one point been asked to draft the technical, i.e. correct, part of answers to a few Parliamentary questions related to defence, the incompetence angle hasn't hacked it for me since. Not one single fact of mine made it into the actual answers given. I wasn't asked after that . . . try 'Yes Minister' on YT. Famously a documentary rather than a comedy.

Having done the LHR to GVA flight and then car hire to France weekend before last . . . .

1.VeriFLY app before boarding plane
2. Fill out the Swiss passenger locator which will verify your Covid status - do this before flying. Marked as transiting
3. Bigger queue at passport control so be prepared or get up the front - they asked for passport and Swiss passenger locator form only
4. Car hire - as normal
5. Drive cross Swiss / French boarder - no issue
6. Return. - no issue
7. LHR crazy long queue but moved fairly quickly. You dont want to be without an e-gate passport and if you do, take a picnic

I'm veering towards sheer f*****Ing ill thought out (not thought out?) incompetence. But that's only because this lot couldn't conspire their way out of a paper bag.
