Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Alpybus transfer

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi
I have booked a transfer from Geneva to Morzine at xmas with Alpybus but have since read very mixed reviews. Anyone used them? Are they any good? ( I have the whole family going but haven’t booked sole use as too expensive).
Thanks for any advice

They've been fine Chamonix-GVA anytime we've used them ...

Used to be good. Been not great to bloody anoying of late from personal experience. Friends have been stranded by them lately. BUT that's in low season when they are in their not give a fu(k mode. High season they are by all accounts resonable.

@Quiddy, welcome to the forum. Alpybus worked fine when we have used them for Geneva to Morzine. Or indeed other routes. But we are a small sample.

We used them at least half a dozen times (ie 6 return journeys) in the past 2 years, without any problems, and wouldn't have any qualms about using them again.

We are planning on booking with them again for our January and March trips to Val Thorens.

My mother in law also used them twice (2 return journeys) and friends used them 3 times (× 2 journeys) over the same period. Again, none had any problems.

@Quiddy, used them Geneva to Morzine the last 2 seasons we've been able to travel.

Had no issues, but like all things, there'll always be someone that's had a bad experience, but you often don't get to read many reviews that are positive as people tend to only leave negative reviews.

Thanks all for the replies. I feel a bit happier now to hear others have been ok using them. Will let you know how we get on after the trip.
Looking forward to the snow.
