Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Shared transfers from Geneva Airport

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all,

We have clearly completely lost touch not having traveled much in the last 2 years, and forgot how crazy expensive hire cars become over New Year's break...

We're flying into Geneva on Wednesday 29/12/2021 at 12PM, and have an apartment booked for a week in La Plagne.

I wasn't able to find any shared transfer (coach etc) for the dates, and pricate transfer (and care rental at this point) STINGS!
So I was thinking if there is anyone on the forum who is traveling on the same date and similar destination, maybe we could share the pain? Very Happy

Equally, I though this could be a helpful thread for other dates and destinations from Geneva, for people to be able to connect? rolling eyes

I contacted lots (12) providers for a PdS shared transfer, and the takeaway is that the vast majority are only offering Private transfers this season, with the exception of the scheduled "bus" style services.

I suspect it may be the same for Tarantaise resorts too.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks, WinfOfChange, I suspected that would be the case re official shared transfers...

What I am referring to here more, is splitting costs of private transfers between several groups of travelers Smile
For example there is just the two of us - we'd happily split the fare with another couple or two (and get a minivan), even if we are going to destinations within an easy drive of one another.
