Did you end up trying L Chimpl? I'll be staying in Selva and wondering if it's practical to travel to L Chimpl for a nice lunch.

Out at Malga Ciapela, south east part of the area, the Ristorante Baita Dovich was good when we tried it. On the left of the main piste down to Malga Ciapela, a couple of hundred metres above the chairlift base.

No, didn't get there in the end. It's not easy as there are so many other great places for lunch - there just aren't enough lunchtimes in a week (or even 2) to do the area justice. For example, I dscoverwd the proper restaurant down stairs at Col Alt, above Corvara. It was good enough that I went a 2nd time
