Is DLX Skiwear good quality or is it just (cheaper)Trespass Skiwear with ‘designer’ branding and a ‘designer’ price tag? Is it really worth the money?

Bought one set for my daughter - Can’t sat anything bad about the quality, apart from it not being “premium” quality. 50% off when I bought it, and at that price it was quite good.

Thanks for your reply. DLX seems to have a good selection of colours and sizes for their ski pants (salopettes)They are currently selling for about £80.00 which is more than 50% off last year’s recommended retail price. As I don’t change my ski pants that often, I feel it may be worth spending a bit more on a ‘premium’ quality product.

I know it it doesn’t help the ski industry but why should you pay full price when hardly anyone went skiing in 2021 and there are warehouses full of unsold ski gear. Most people don’t have money to burn and want to go skiing next year. The cost ski holidays have gone up a lot since 2019 so why pay a premium for the latest gear when last season’s is perfectly good?
Besides ,unsold clothing from 2019/20 season either ends up in Tk Maxx, on eBay,in a landfill or in an incinerator after the end of next season….

No reason at all. However if something is never sold "full price", it means that the claims of "50% off" are BS.

Agreed, that’s marketing. The only ski item I have ever paid full price for are ski boots as I need them custom fitted.
