Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Selling easyJet tickets

My son has a seat on a Saturday 19/2 flight which he now can't use. It's changeable to a different flight but no refund of difference if cheaper. It now looks as though a name change is straightforward (and free) so the ticket could be sold to someone else. Has anyone any experience of doing that?

@caughtanedge, experience of changing but yet to see how it pans out at the airport! I had two easyjet flights with bags and skis so it was cheaper to change one into a friend's name than for him to purchase the same himself. It cost us £49 per flight though -flight is Jan 22.. So far the only problem has been getting the contact details on the flight changed so that he receives the email notifications. In fact we still haven't been able to sort it (tried with a call and a livechat session, then was unable to submit the data protection form requested). For us it isn't a major issue, we are friends so I can pass messages on to him and I will be on the same flight (for example we recently had a notificatjon that the plane had changed and i got the messages for both flights even though one is now in a different passengers name) but not sure it would be as easy if given/ sold to a random person.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

When I looked into changing the name on one of the flights I had booked, I was sure it wasn't free.

Have you started the process on the website @caughtanedge and are sure there isn't a charge?

How much will it cost?
You are able to change the name(s) of passengers subject to the following fees:

Changes made more than 60 days before departure will be subject to a fee of £49.00 per passenger per flight

Changes made 60 days or less before departure will be subject to a fee of £49.00 per passenger per flight

Title changes are free of charge.

That's what I get when I try to change the name on a booking Puzzled

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

You're correct - it was the option to change the flight (to any departure/arrival combination) which is free. The name change is £49 as you say.
