stayed in Banff a couple of times, we always hired a car as its just easier to make use of the Big Three area, Castle Mountain, and Panorama if you drive independently.

As @stephap, says, pre-Covid it was Discover Banff, my stepD was the Crystal rep in Banff at the time. That may have changed post-covid (she no longer works for Crystal), but if it hasn’t, the buses were clean and comfy enough when we went out to see her.
