Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Yes 18 litres currently for still wine, or 9 litres for sparkling.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Oooooopppss got that wrong last week, though the 9lt of sparkling was on top of the 18lt of still Laughing

@Weathercam, it is on top of it. It's 18 litres of still and either 4l of spirits or 9l of sparkling. I certainly read it as additional not instead of the still.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

That is good news. As we are three up (fingers crossed for February) that’s a fair amount.

Chablis is a bit off the usual route though, especially if booked into hotels close to A26.

It is conveniently located between Reims and Dijon as per original question. And in my books it is a must destination for wine lovers.

For those out in France and if you're near an Aldi the Chateau du Vieux Duché - appellation Lalande de Pomerol is as good as it gets to being a true Pomerol (Google that) and at €7.99 is one of Aldis most expensive wines but well worth the outlay!

The Val Moret was a hit. Kids loved the pool and Jacuzzi, adults enjoyed the bar and restaurant and the pup loved the gardens.

Alas ran out of time for the vineyards but Beaune was a great pit stop venue for lunch and looks worth a return for some road biking in the stunning countryside and vineyard visits!
