Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snowdome, when did it become so expensive?

Looked at booking 2 adults and a child for a couple of hours at the Snowdome. Bloody hell, nearly £150!

Throw in parking, a couple of drinks and fuel costs and I'm looking at well over £200.

The prices rose in the CFe after the first lockdown. I guess they are desperately trying to recoup their losses.

True that. A 2 hour lift pass costs £32. Hopefully they will have some offers soon

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@Awdbugga, Went to the Chill Factor, (or whatever it is calling itself today) for the moguls on Nov 4th, no discount (I usually get 20% off) worse still no moguls, (because Lockdown 2 had been announced) £32 thanks! You can get a day pass at a real ski resort for that, not two hours in a mogulless box.

A 1:30 race training lesson with Midland Ski Club at the nearby Swadlincote dry slope will cost £16 per person. Parking is free. However, due to current Covid measures the slope is closed.

I'd posted elsewhere on here that Mrs MA and I have drawn the line at Xscape's £32 Shocked for an hour at peak time.

On our worst ever visit, we only got about 6 runs because of the queues... rolling eyes

I'd pay 25 quid tops...

I think that as they have reduced capacity now there will be very little discounting of prices as they will sell out even at full price. On the plus side because of the reduced capacity the slopes should be much quieter and so the experience should be much better than mountainaddict's 6 runs in an hour, even in peak season.

Looking to do a trip to Glasgow in near future. Anyone know if the Glasgow snowdome (Snow Factor) is currently open? Looked at their website but no times given
