Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone been to Valfrejus in Dec? Thoughts please. I think there are snow cannons down to the resort?

Not visited in December, but snow making all way down to village yes.

Also gondola straight out of village centre to high plateau (and easily back down if needed) with ski area aspect good for holding snow.

Last there on a monster powder day one March Very Happy haven't stayed there (val cenis) but visited a few times as it's a really good smaller ski station with generally very good costing.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

When in December? Many small French resorts won't open fully till Christmas week. And if the weather is warm, of course, snow cannons are irrelevant.

In 2014 we went 20th - 27th December. Originally we were going to Les 7 Laux skiing 1350 - 2400m but mostly north facing as I understand it. It was a poor start to the season and it didn't open. We switched to Tignes at the last minute. That said in the 10 Christmas trips I've done that is the only one with any major issue. And from what I see Valfrejus is 1550 to 2700m. So, I'm sure it would be fine.
