Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

You’re lucky. I can’t get Steep to work on my Xbox One. It always starts with you stood on the edge of a platform in a wing suit. The option to change to skiing or boarding does not work. I’ve deleted it and reloaded it, but still no joy. Gutted. Grrrr.

Family bereavement resulted in a trip to Finland early on in the season. Complicated situation meant we had an extended period of time with little to do. Did everything by the book which resulted in significant additional costs but given the circumstances we would have incurred these anyway. Despite the underlying cause of the trip still had a reasonable time. Winter holidays in Finland are different from traditional skiing holidays in the alps but no less enjoyable and look forward to doing it again in happier times. Need less to say would have preferred not to have had the opportunity.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Managed a twixt-lockdown trip to Morzine before xmas. Did lots of DIY (new place) and 2 days skinning up the brilliant “up tracks” the resort have put in, eating a butty and then skiing back down a blue run. And it was fab - converted my mate to the joys of touring - once you think of it as “a day on the hill”, as opposed to “we must maximise downhill time” then it’s grand.
