Neons,Tiger Barbs,Corys (Catfish) ,some other tetra's & Zebra Danio's.16 in total,quite small at the mo' though.

Mmmm. Got to be careful with Tiger Barbs as they nip the fins of other fish - in particular guppies and gouramis. Neon tetras tend to die off easily. Zebras are good fish to keep as are Corys. Not bad for a starter tank!
I'm impressed Mr T. More to you than meets the eye.
PS - were prob gonna book Alpe d'Huez when Mr G gets back from Serbia. We have the princely sum of 7.

Osh -minimum requirement for entry to our club is keeping a goldfish. Must be in a tank though not a bowl.

it's all down to the girlfriend you see. We had one of those black fancy goldfish with the long wispy tails. Very pretty but a right pain to look after as they are not very resilient. So it got ill and we treated it, it got ill again and we treated it again etc etc until one day we could not treat it. Instead, girlfriend decided that it needed to be put out of its misery and remembered that she heard that putting fish in a bag of water in the freezer was a humane way to kill them, sorry, put them down, as they go to sleep first.
That was about 8 months ago.

Well, it was fairly simple, the carp couldn't work the controls on the Abrams tank, and kept on getting "gold on gold", i.e. shooting friendly fish.
I would have thought that would have been fairly obvious!

Wear The Fox Hat, Your starting to scare me... though I think my yak maybe better suited to controlling a tank.... his hoofs (don't start that spelling malarky again) would easily reach the pedals and controls.... tho think it's may be a bit of a tight squeeze getting his horns into a helmet....
Finally I would have a valid reason to shout "Yakattack"... as he rolled into Baghdad.

Tony, Tony, that is a bit of a "fishy" tale but nonetheless you have cryogenically frozen your fish until a remedy is found. SUbscribe to New Scientist and keep checking on cure for goldfish.

Philip Prior, I swear it is totally true. If you don't believe me you'll have to come round for a G&T - just make sure that you don't take the big ice block at the back of the freezer.
