Mine were a pair of next year's Zag Slaps, at 118 mm underfoot. Anyone else like to confess?

I saw some Volant Spatulas in VT - they had a side bulge rather than a side cut - not sure if they were twin tips though...

Scarpa, I can offer you a Haynes Manual for a Yamaha XS750. They were quite fat...and long IIRC

snowbunny, I already have a Haynes Manual for the Honda CX500 - they were quite heavy and slow
Reminds me of the Scottish sketch with Callum selling a Suzuki 350 manual to a couple of Jehovas Witnesses hehehe

snowbunny, That was a triple with a very dodgy hy-vo primary drive (I could do a replacement in 17mins . . . by the 7th ) Swing Arm bearings went with monotonous regularity too . . .

Masque, Well, all of that and a high saddle height (too damn high) which accounted for SO snapping ACL whilst stationary many years ago

Alan Craggs,
So you owned the other one! My brother-in-law & I rebuilt a similar beastie from a box o' bits many years ago. He hadn't passed his test when it was first finished so he stuck a double-adult chair on the side. Now that was scaaaary
It was a bit more torquey than my Honda 250 single, though!
