Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

OK, in the spirit of giving how about we make a list of cracking deals to share around with fellow SnowHeads in these cash-strapped times? Both the price and why you like the place. I'll open with this one, which I think is pretty much untouchable at the moment:

Arc 2000 Aiguille Rouge

Half-board including a lift pass for around £500pp, depending on when you go. If you go 3 to a room then it's even less. That's frankly f*cking nuts! Currently on Crystal at ~£900pp.

The good: It's true ski-in ski out in my all-time favourite resort. I've been there maybe 5 times with kids because it has buffet food, meaning that even the fussiest little sh*t can find something to eat each and every day without complaining. Unlimited free wine with evening meal if you care about such things. Kids club included, but I've never used it so cannot comment on it.

The bad: Rooms are small. Baths are half size. Food is functional rather than outstanding.

Just thought I would do a price comparison

29 of Jan flying from Gatwick, Half Board at the L'Aiguille Rouge

Crystal ------- (easyjet flights) -------------------£942
DIY ---- £675 + £87 (easyjet) + £90 transfer = £852
Saving -----------------------------------------------£90

A saving, but not massive....

Don't forget that Crystal's price does not include a lift pass. That's another £290pp.

Sunweb always have great packages deals; often including accommodation, lift pass and flights. But as always, read the small print very carefully; and check the actual named accommodation reviews on Tripadvisor.

As xmas week with Crystal is Mon-Mon, New Year week Mon-Mon, so the short week Mon-Sat so they can get back to Sat-Sat for the rest of the season.

but it will include luggage... which I doubt the £87 flight does! & if you take your own ski stuff, it is much cheaper than than the £37 e/w that EJ charge
