1) you’re right it is NOT Germain Mattis AND
2) it does slope the wrong way to GM:
It is La Route du Col bringing you back from Fornet under the Laisinant chair hence “sloping the wrong way” to the head of the Laissinant valley and the bottom of the Datcha Chair: you can cut back to descend to Germain Mattis.
