Poster: A snowHead

I have a plastic tube of the cork stuff (seems solid, at utility room termperatures). How do I get it into the boots? (Recall something involving plastic pipes or tubes, but...??? ) Does it need warming first, and how (tube is open ended, so can't dunk in hot water; microwave? on top of radiator?)
How much to add at a time? Just want to get a teeny tad more hold at a couple of places.
How then to get it to where I want it? (At home, only have body/foot heat if I wear them and/or radiators and general room heat to warm shells/boots - or can wait until I next go skiing and bed it in that way; if they ever allow us to go ever again!)
Thanks.

@Grizzler, By the time you are able to go skiing again the stuff already in the liners will have settled at the bottom, I would wait until you have used them again.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@rjs, do I store them upside down, then? Seriously, never knew that. Skied them first time for 10 months yesterday (stored in shells sitting upright or lying sideways), weren't at all a bad fit, though took a few runs to get my desired forward lean fully in (but still better than pre Zippy days by a long chalk )

@Grizzler, I wouldn't store them upside down, just factor in that they may feel tighter after not using them for a while.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@Grizzler, where did you get your boots/liners from? They may even top them up for you??
@rjs, pretty sure the cork in zipfit doesn't "settle to the bottom", certainly hasn't in the many years I've had mine and always stored the right way up!!

@kitenski, Rivi Alp. Bit of a long trek, especially in current circumstances. He gave me the extra stuff if I needed it, sounded easy to do at the time but, duh, I've forgotten by the time that I get around to it.
