Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Collecting DarkSky API Snow Accumulation Information - Any Experienced Data Parsers Here?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all,

Currently sitting on about 10 years' worth of Dark Sky API forecasts for the latitudes/longitudes of most major North American ski resorts in imperial metrics. However, the snow accumulation numbers I've pulled do not pass the sanity check bar. Has anyone else tried pulling snow information from Dark Sky and had any success?

I've attached an example of snow accumulation (in inches) from Arapahoe Basin (based off 39.6425, -105.8719) from 2009 to 2018. The numbers seem to be too low before 2017—and way too high after that.

Happy to share more details if needed.

What is your question exactly? If the data you pulled from DarkSky doesn't make sense, may be you should ask them?

If you think the error is in your calculations, then show your code, we are not clairvoyants here.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Oleski, I think he has asked his question in his post “Has anyone else tried pulling snow information from Dark Sky and had any success? “

I guess its just asking if anyone else has done it and if similar anomalies were noticed when they did , a simple enough question to answer.
