Now that the entry requirements for France have been eased, the next hurdle is being able to do anything once you get to France. The French government website on the Pass Sanitaire (which might shortly become Pass Vaccinal in some cases) is here:

This is in French, but Google translate appears to do a reasonable job.
It's been updated today to note the bill that is currently being examined which may change things. It's suggest keeping an eye on this page.

The NHS travel pass QR code works fine in France there is no need to download or use the French app. It is easiest to download the QR code at home and get it laminated - saves fiddling around with the phone. Currently both 2nd vaccine code or 3rd booster are both working.

Completely. My understanding is that passe sanitaire rules apply - so if your child is single jabbed it's a test every 24 hours. I was thinking about sucking this up for Feb HT HOWEVER I'm now getting the impression from travel journo's that travel to France from the UK is only for the fully vaccinated from 12+ too.

@kcr83 I think you are mixing the travel rules (immigration) with the pass vaccinal rules that are in the process of being adopted. I am 99% sure that on the immigration rules that all minors inherit their parents status. So as long as you are fully vaccinated and get in the country then your kids can. Then as long as the new law gets passed as amended by the Senate, your kids won’t need vaccine passes, they can use the old pass sanitaire - in other words daily testing once you get in will be fine.

My 13 year old had his first jab and then caught covid so hasn't been able to have his second yet. All the official websites seem to suggest that infection followed by one dose equals fully vaccinated but they don't mention it the other way round. Can anyone clarify if my son would be covered?

If you look at the above, the key section on travel from a red list country is this (I think):

For travel, the key questions is what do they mean by "minors" - some differing opinions on whether this refers to under 12s or under 18s. THis article suggests under 18s can enter France:

I’m looking for the government website link that verifies QR codes relating to proof of recovery and one jab constitute fully vaccinated status as far as the Pass Sanitaire is concerned, does anybody have this please?

I suppose the big takeaway from the last few pages of this thread is that if your teenager tests positive with Covid with a lateral flow, you don't log it on the NHS system so they can still get their second jab once out of isolation. Ours get their 2nd jab tomorrow but once it became clear weeks ago that they would not get a letter proving infection, we decided to keep any infection off the grid so that we could resume family holidays. Mind you, with our minimal level of home testing, the chances of this were pretty low in the first place. They've gone through enough already without having to suffer yet another administrative blind spot.
I can't see any medical risk-I remember the justification for the 12 week wait being it extends immunity for as long as possible-no point generating more antibodies by injection whilst you still have a high level anyway from recent infection.

Adult, fully vaccinated (2 shots and a booster).
I’ve got my travel pass on the NHS app with its QR code.
Is this all I need to get into restaurants/bars/onto lifts/buy a lift pass?
Or do I need to download anything else like the tousanticovid app for example?

Just a warning to others, the Tous Anti Covid app has clearly updated itself on my phone and was the devil to get my vaccination certificate into.
I think it is the change including the need for boosters from 15 Dec for over-60s and 15 Jan for under-60s. For some reason it kept saying my booster QR code was already on the system when I tried to load it, despite it being impossible to find anywhere. In the end I worked out how to delete every previous record (including multiple failed attempts!) and start again - click the there dots top right of each certificate and select delete. I could then load my current NHS QR codes, though in practice the booster is the only one needed I think.
However the update has one improvement, the QR code is accessible straight from the front page of the app without having to go into the wallet to retrieve it.

That is all you need in theory. However, the disbenefit of the NHS App is that it needs data to work and display the required QR code to be scanned by restaurants etc. It's worth saving an offline copy of the required QR code or even better too print it out and laminate it.
Many people find it handy to use the TAC Verif app for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it doesn't require a data connection. Secondly, is reassuring to load your QR code in there and check it's valid and you can figure out which of your QR codes is the important one.

QR access times. In every case the QR code is the same NHS QR code
NHS App - Slowest and must have data/wifi as it refreshes every time...
Quicker: Copy NHS code into TAC app - no need to log in so can be done with no internet
Quicker still: Copy NHS cert into apple (or android?) wallet, access direct from home screen
Even quicker: Screen capture the QR from TAC app, set picture as Lock Screen
Quickest of all: Print, Laminate, Stick to helmet.

Right so basically if I screenshot my QR code from the NHS app and set it as my screen saver on my phone, then that’ll be good to go?

I tried screen shotting the QR code and put it on my Home Screen over Xmas and it wouldn’t register with the scanner.
Have you been able to make this work?

Looks like the Passe Vaccinal is due to be implemented sometime next week, not sure if the TousAntiCovid app will need changing or just updating, it's only a platform after all.
The main change will be any unvaxxed over 18's will no longer be able to present a one-day -ve test to enter bars etc or go skiing.....

My understanding is that - as suggested above - u16s single or non-vaccinated can travel with double-vaccinated parents and then test daily for Pass Sanitaire. Current situation only, can change

Oops, you're right. I forgot I've got both on my phone. It's TousAntiCovid that normal folk need to use.

I understand that there is a medical reason for the 12 week delay following infection (for those under 1 . It's a precaution against the very small increased risk of heart inflammation when having the vaccine soon after having had covid.

@sugarmoma666, exactly. I have the verifs for FR, IT and CH only because bro in laws QR came up invalid in Italy in July - the bar owners a cousin so no worries, but we were trying them all and only Ivan's Italian verif didn't work. Perplexing.
@Charliegolf, The important thing with the TAC favourite is if you've just had a jab that isn't yet valid, but you have a prior that still is:
- e.g. we had 2nd jabs on top of recovery + 1 (thus fully vacced in France) in August to facilitate uk entry but that 2nd jab showed invalid on TAC for 7 days post, so the rec+1 was favourite until the 2nd was valid.
Likewise, we had our 3rd on Thursday and it won't be valid till Thursday so it's loaded but not favourite.

Does anyone when the official rules will be finalised, approved and communicated? Maybe I'm missing the point but I've yet to find a website that clearly articulates what the rules are for unvaccinated >12s are and what the French definition of a minor is.

@LR_Images, I didn't. When we got jab 1 we just showed our antibody results so the original certificate showed "cycle vaccination complet" and on TAC it showed 1/1.
