Actually, you need BOTH to work profitably.
Without recognition of qualification, it's harder to find work that would lead to work visa.

@JamesHJ, funny enough one of those knob heads trading insults isn't even a BASI member.. I usually steer clear of the "BASI community hub" as it is an open membership and attracts weirdo's like SH's own DG.

Qualification is nt meaningless of you simply want to know how to assess people and pass on tip to friends.
BUT...... you second point on Brexit being a disaster for instructors is right on the money.
