Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@DaveD, it is not a PCR test so many countries don't accept it.

They would be better sticking to dispensing prescriptions more efficiently. Currently the General Pharmaceutical Council who regulate pharmacies and pharmacists do not recommend their supply or promotion to the general public. Perhaps they are currently dicussing this with them, but I haven't got t ime to check it out at the minute. Got to go to work.

Boots will actually be offering 2 tests, both £120.
Test 1 will be results in 12 minutes, but not acceptable for pre-flight purposes.
Test 2 will be 48 hours, but WILL be acceptable for pre-flight purposes.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The quick one is probably the antigen test, which the Italians now make at the border I believe.
120 is way too much for this test though, it should be half that.

Personally I'd pay £120 extra to make sure I can get away this season!

@ajc2260626 I assume so as it's acceptable for flying purposes.

It was the situation (not sure if it still is) that on arrival at some airports (including München) you could have the reagent test free.
Obviously it’s preferable to go after you have had a negative test, just in case, but £120 does sound a lot

I would too, though for a family of 5 it does mean £600 extra on the ski trip......
