Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We've booked for New Year - anyone else booked? Also, does anyone have experience of lessons and at what age they mix teens and adults. My 13 year old is same skiing level as me and is hoping we can be in the same lessons.

My first ever ski trip was to UCPA - La Plagne. As I remember it, the lessons were very good and all of our novices were getting all over the ski area by the end of the week and our good skiers all enjoyed it too. They were quite flexible on lessons. I got promoted into a skier group after the first few days and at the same time someone who was in top group, demoted themselves into the same group. Bit bizarre but apparently she got really tired after the first couple of days of skiing powder.
Especially as you are the parent, I'd be pretty sure if you're not 'naturally' in the same group, they would have no problem accomodating a polite request.

Thanks for the feesback. Really looking forward to it, just need the French to spend the next 3 months getting in control of Covid, so we don't have the dilemma of whether to go or not, subject to quarantine.
I've been working from home since end of February and can't see that changing soon, it will just be schooling that is a problem.
