Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Fischer Hybrid vacuum ski boots

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Both the toes and heels of my old Hybrod 10+ ski boots which I used for 5 seasons worn out and couldnt buy replacement, so I plan to buy new one. However, this model is discontineed. Any suggestion which Fischer VACUUM FIT model is similiar to the Hybrid? I am a recreation skier and not ski fast, close to 70 yeaars old.
Any suggestion and advice is appreciated.

If you wish to buy, I think you should go to somewhere that is recommended on here - as the fit can change within a brand. This can be done where you live, or in resort.

It is worth the extra effort to be comfortable - otherwise you might as well hire.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

thanks for your info, FYI I brought my Fischer Hybrid 10+ vacuum in Niseko by a boot fitter recommendation. paid full MSRP price. fit my narrow feet well. he recommended me to stay with Fischer in future. I intend to buy from the internet and bring the new boots to Niseko for fitting.

@Skimak, do bear in mind that the last of the fischer boots (and all brands really) has changed in 5 years, what was right then, may or may not be right now, also consider that you turn up with a boot which is not right will take time to make right and it will cost you, normally it ends up costing you more than just getting the boot via the person doing the fitting

@CEM, has said what I was thinking - but it is your money and your decision.

Good luck with whatever you do - but to me, it makes more sense to let the same person who sells you the boots, fit the boots....this way, they will normally stand over the result.
