Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Volkl AC30s - looking for newer recommendation

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I have Volkl AC30s 177 and 184 variants - I love these skis - although they have their limitations off piste and in the tight turns through the trees or steep moguls, but for sheer blatting down pistes and demolishing crud etc they are ace. But I am looking for newer recommendations. I am 110kg, fairly fit if not a bit of a lazy/ not dynamic skier sometimes. I did trial a pair of Atomic Vantage Ti 107s a couple of years ago in spring snow at Glencoe and loved them as a ski anywhere on or off piste ski

I do need stiff skis being heavy - so looking for thoughts on alternatives based on info above - maybe even something to accompany the AC30s

Cheers

If you like Volkls have a look at the Mantra 102 which I love and can go anywhere. Or the katana 108s.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

If you are looking for an All Mountain Ski, maybe also look at Blizzard Bonafide and Nordica Enforcer 100.

scotabroad, You could also try the Mantra M5, everyone I spoke to using them last season in Canada raved about them.
If I was looking to swop from my Kendo, I would certainly try them.

Previously, I had the AC30 predecessors - same stats, different top sheets, and loved them.
Just wanted something a little wider but similar attributes.
