Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

boredsurfin,

I know Arno posted that he wasn't knocked out with the B4. But that and XL aren't really the same sort of ski for the same sort of skier IMV. The B4 will be at home off-piste and suffer by comparison on-piste with most thinner (less than 80) skis let alone with the XL. The XL will perform well off-piste etc. If you want to compare skis with the XL, think Recon, 8000, and across the board skier types. Even if the B4 can edge as well - doubtful, it will not be as quick.

Thats not to say there is no merit in the B4 and their ilk but you aren't talking about like for like and there will be trade-offs

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

SMALLZOOKEEPER, we have Fall Line magazine next week in VT to persuade us all to ski on freeride skis, so I think your 75mms are forgiveable...

I can just picture it, imagine the savings resorts will make, with all the piste bashing being done by 5,000 snowHeads on super fats in the future, no more need for grooming Wink. Major redundancies at ski schools though, all those lessons failing to learn how to carve properly will no longer be needed... Smile
