I've got the app, but when I try to register, nothing happens - the 'register' button just doesn't function.

Seemed a bit clunky to start with, but I got through ok (android phone)
Maybe it's due to heavy load due to lots of people trying to register
Only negative thought is it initially launches the gov.uk advice page so a lot of people may give up at that point thinking that's all it is, but if you hit the (phone's) back button you then get to fill in the survey.

Well, in terms of numbers recruited for research, the sample is a very big one; simple statistics to correct for skewed sample.

It's nice they are trying to help, and hopefully some good can come of this project. That said it seems very flawed. Firstly the new data coming out of Italy suggests for many the virus is asymptomatic. Secondly, it seems like it would be too easy to misdiagnose other symptoms for coronavirus
