Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snowboard Camps for 16 year olds

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
After some advice please guys.

Our 15 year old snowboarding son will by next year be well and truly board with being with his growing older skiing parents and in order that his snowboarding continues to develop has anyone any knowledge of camps with accommodation for 16 year olds. Looking at either Europe or the USA and it would have to be at a pretty good level to be fully worth the investment.

I have had a look around but cannot seem to find anything

Thanks very much

Send him to mount hood in the summer and then you can leave him in the terrain park all winter by himself Smile

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I did one of the High Cascade adult camps back in 2003-ish, definitely recommend.

This was my first time trying ski touring with the whole works - skins, pin bindings, avalanche rucksack etc., It really was an amazing experience & Paloma was so patient with me seeing as a lot of what we did was very new to me. I was incredibly slow but I never felt panicked or pressured & therefore learnt a lot. We’ve used Mountain Action Holidays https://mountainwinterholidays.com/winter-packages/snow-blast before for lessons as have friends. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough for their skill & just being thoroughly good folks.

I'm not a snowboarder but met Baden here a couple of years ago. My neighbour is a snowboard instructor and friend of his. Suspect he'll possibly be involved too. Great summer snowpark here on the glacier.

Onyx have a good reputation. Mate has been with Definition before and rated them. Maverix is another I've heard good things about.
