Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@shashor, Third one today with the same question! Look at the Zillertal, Serfaus / Fiss, Ischgl, the Arlberg, Montafon or Sölden / Obergurgl. Stubai is a bit limited beyond the glacier. If you have the budget then Lech in the Arlberg is probably your best bet, less expensive then either Serfaus or Zillertal.

@shashor, Ski Amade (Flacahau/Wagrain) has loads of snow at the moment and easy to get to from Salzburg (60 Mins). Zillertal also good but base yourself somewhere close to the lifts.

@shashor, @Mike Pow, Ski World in Zug is a great spot, but wouldn't go for that if you are a blue/red skier. You might be getting the bus home!!

@Mike Pow, Lech is a great spot if you either have the budget or can get a good deal. Zug is a beautiful hamlet set amongst stunning scenery. The downsides are that there is one slow lift out, the runs back are all ski routes and that there is not much to do when the lift closes as it is so small (one restaurant and a couple of bars). One of the ski routes is pretty difficult but the other two not so, one is pretty much a track more of an issue to keep speed up rather than down and the other is the well known Madloch which is pretty much a red piste though can get more difficult in the afternoons. The bus link to Lech is very good and short (5 mins if that), perfectly walkable into Lech too.

We ski-ed in Warth in the school Easter holidays last year and there was still tons of snow (it's apparently well known for holding on to it's snow late into the season). The links into St. Anton were still well covered too.

True but the actual glacier at Stubai is great for Blue/Red skiers. I preferred the skiing on the Stubai to the skiing on the Solden galciers but if there's decent snow then Solden has more skiing and much more going on. If you don't have your own wheels I probably wouldn't head to Stubai. In terms of Solden vs Serfaus I think the skiing is quite a bit better in Serfaus but Solden is far more lively if Apres is a consideration.
