"We have reported the camper to the police who have contacted the mountain rescue teams. A description of paul has been given and the police have been here this morning to check out the van.
They're on the case and have my details.
I will post an update when I hear some more news.
Let's hope Paul is ok!"

Update from OP who was his neighbour on the Aire.
Ok hes safe apparently and uninjured. I know nothing more than that and have not seen him as yet. We leave tomorrow for another resort, but hes safe and that's what matters.
