PG, it be flat round here. Leicester is just south , nottingham north. On the M1, with a large university, prety much sums it up. drop us a line as we are only a stones throw (living in Leicester)

PG, I went to school in Loughborough. It's a university town. Stay away from Shelthorpe!!! I'll try and think of somethings...........could always visit Melton for a pork pie

It's a bit of a dump IMHO...although I did go to a student club/dive there last year where the ladies could win a bottle of cheap bubbly by stripping off (as much or as little as they dared) and dance under a shower positioned in front of the DJ booth. Missed it all as I was too busy drinking beer...

Yep, it's a dump alright. Spent three years at the above mentioned University. That's a dump too. Unfortunately it's not right on the M1 or it would be easier to get out of the place.
There is however a nice local beauty spot; can't remember what it's called now. Large hill. No snow West of the town if I remember rightly. Worth walking up (don't use top car park, too close).
