Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Oakley airbrake XL question

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I used to own oakley airbrake goggles, but I lost them, and I need to buy new ones. I looked at oakley airbrake xl, but the curve othe goggles seems ridiculous! I have a regular ski helmet from Salomon and it seems that putting those goggles in would result in a massive space between my helmet and goggled on both side of my face, as they are very curved. Any opinions, anyone has them?

I tried them on in a shop once and hated the look and feel of them , and I LOVE Oakleys . I have the Fall lines now but wish they had a quick change lens.

I have the airbrake xl for 3 winters and not even once have i cared about the way i look or if there is a gap between the helmet and the goggles'rim. The optics are good. Bought replacing lenses on Amazon
It's big and comfortable, quite easy to swap. But it still gets foggy in cold weather.
Would go for the magnetic Anon or the Julbo recommended for touring with no fog issues

I wouldn't recommend the anon m2 .
Two of us had real issues with fogging.

I've got the flight deck and apart from the lack of quick change, love them.

I went from airbrake to airbrake xl a couple of seasons ago. No complaints on fit or size but I don’t usually wear a helmet

I have the Airbrake XL and Salomon Ranger helmet and they fit well, no gap. Love them, large range of vision and quick to change lenses.
