Poster: A snowHead

I got some merino wool top baselayer from icebreaker and wanted to ask about generally how WOOL baselayer should fit. I normally used synthetic baselayers like Odlo, which have fery tight fit with lycra/elastane, so they are basically body-fit. WIth merino baselayer, should the same principle apply, or should it be more like a t-shirt, loose?

@bober02, I'm not sure there's any rule, but I think they're more comfortable if they fit quite closely.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

bober02, I personally wouldn't want them loose for warmth, athletic fit more like rather than skin tight.
You will find they give a little due to the nature of the fabric unless its blended with lycra, which some are.

I got bottoms M from icebreaker, and M is too small for my thighs... I wonder if L will work length wise, might not.
Surprisingly M is too big as a top... Will try S
